Print 50µm Open Channels
Confidently print master molds with precise channels as fine as 50µm in the XY. Push the limits in design by integrating macro and micro-sized features onto one mold; or take advantage of vertical space by creating multi-depth features with ease.
0.18µm Ra Value Master Molds
Master molds exhibit an exceptional surface finish with a 0.18µm Ra value. This reflects in an optically clear PDMS device, ensures proper bonding to the chosen substrate, and preventing leaking during testing.
Non-Cytotoxic PDMS Devices
When casting PDMS onto the printed master molds, no cytotoxic residual material is transferred, making the Master Mold for PDMS resin biocompatible and suitable for cell culture applications
Device Durability Reuse Master Molds
Printed master molds are able to withstand the temperatures of a conventional lab oven without the loss of printed features. A single master mold can be used several times to cast PDMS devices up to 500 times with the appropriate care.
1-Day Workflow Fast Iterations
Our master mold can be printed in 1-3 hours (size dependent). Post-print processing is as simple as cleaning in isopropyl alcohol and curing for 40 minutes under a UV light. PDMS can be casted directly onto the master mold without any salinization or release agents, and cured in a lab oven at 70°C / 158°F for 3 hours.
