Proved by Researchers

>90% Cell Viability

Rigorous viability testing was performed on 5 cell lines. Suspension cells were injected into an assay 3D printed with the Cyto-Clear, stained with viability reagents, and analyzed on-chip using live/dead staining.

Adherent cells
were subcultured onto 3D printed disks with the Cyto-Clear, stained with viability reagents, and then analyzed using an XTT assay and live/dead staining.

Biocompatibility

Cyto-Clear is a biocompatible material, enabling microfluidic devices to integrate with biological systems without causing adverse reactions. It’s a great solution for a wide range of research applications, from drug testing and delivery to point-of-care diagnostics.

Inert Under Fluorescencet Light

Cyto-Clear offers low autofluorescence for accurate imaging of cells labeled with fluorescent dyes and markers. It is also UV-inert – an important feature that prevents material degradation or discoloration during specific microscopy techniques. The Cyto-Clear Photopolymer Resin remains stable under UV exposure, ensuring consistent performance and reliable results.

Optically Clear

Cyto-Clear is specially formulated for high optical transparency, with visibly clear closed channels without the need for sanding, polishing, or additional processing. Its clarity – free from yellow tints – makes it ideal for on-chip evaluation of fluid flows and interactions, whether by eye or under a microscope.

Alive to See

With Cyto-Clear, benchside cell research can now be done in just one day. This breakthrough 3D material is specifically formulated for cell-viable experiments, enabling researchers to test various cell types using 3D-printed devices. Up to 90% of the cells can survive after 48 hours, providing greater flexibility and convenience for drug testing and experimental workflows.

3 Easy Steps to 3D Print Devices

How do you build devices with the Cyto-Clear? It is simpler than we think to apply 3D Printing in microfluidics research. It is a straightforward and efficient process that can be completed in 3 steps:

POUR, PRINT, CLEAN

This streamlined workflow enables the fabrication of high-resolution, transparent microfluidic devices at benchside within a single working day.

Applications

Every microfluidic device is simply a network of channels or features – from straight, serpentine, and spiral channels, to droplet generators, mixers, and viewing chambers. The Cyto-Clear Photopolymer Resin captures these intricate structures – and more – with precision and accuracy
